I saw this sign at the D-Day Memorial in Bedford, VA. More men perished from Bedford (per capita) than anywhere else in the US on D-Day.
The Memorial itself was awe-inspiring and very, very moving.

The lighting was difficult, as there were few clouds and it was mid-day.
