This momma Mourning Dove was watching me as I took a few shots of her nesting babies. Always amazes me how birds can nest in any cacti....ouch! And yes, Saguaro's are trees. Also considered a "thorn-tree that grows fifty feet high" in the Sonoran desert.

Rosemary, this is a charming photo. A cactus?! Ouch! But it sure will keep intruders out.
