Three Right Triangles - and Three Scalene Trapezoids
by Dale R. Palmer

Right triangle (one 90 degree angle) at the left end of this gate, left end plus middle section, and the whole gate. Center shape and right end shapes are scalene trapezoids (two parallel sides with all four sides of differing length)... as is the combination of center and right end for the third scalene trapezoid.

Imaginative!!! It took me a moment to find the shape combos. So far, I see 4 of the six. I see the three trapezoids inside a triangle. But my brain isn't picking up on the other two triangles. This is definitely a good image for Shapes.

Cool shapes! I also like the pop of red against the green. Well spotted!

I like this image a lot, Dale. And finding the gate in such a stand-out color was very fortuitous! And your explanation(s) and comments to yourself also brought a smile. ;)

I updated the image to include these two comments... and now I find myself talking to myself with these comments.

I meant to say 3 triangles.

I guess there are actually 3 of each shape. For example the triangles are left end, then left end plus middle section, then the whole thing for 2 triangles. Trapezoids would be middle section, middle plus right end section, then right end section alone.
