No, I was actually facing West for this shot. When in heavy, full bloom, most sunflowers stop following the sun throughout the day. Instead, they remain facing East. Another quirk of Nature. Liz

Gorgeous! I love the "sparseness" in the front that leads the eye back to the almost solid yellow at the top. Great picture!
