Old Wash Tub

When I was very young, I remember my mom having a little more modern contraption
that was similar to this abandoned "washing machine" left at Bodie State Historic Park.

I had a wringer washer for a good long time...I can always remember sending jeans through and having it pop open. It's a fond memory though...and yes, I too, remember flat towels. Nice image, Laura.

Nice image. I always enjoyed playing with the wringer... just send the towel through and it would come out flat.
