When Tom was young he really was really fearless as you can see by this photo of him. This is a photo I took of him about 30 years ago. He will be 34 later on this year.

In those days, the 1980's, I was using 35mm Ricoh SLR cameras with zoom lenses. Mainly the 80-200 lens. Just scanned this photo today, 5/19/2003, using my Canon PIXMA MP560 from a photo of Tom that I have in my photo album. full exif
