I like having the color of the trees included, but the trees look almost unintentional to me. I would maybe crop the group to the far left and leave the rest.

I like the colors here, B, and the patterns. It's not the kind of clouds we see (almost ever) where we are - so fun to see.

"B" If you shot this in RAW, you might want to now play with adjusting the Curves and/or Levels in post processing.

That could help to put more "life" back into the colors. To have these kind of clouds, I'm guessing that the original lighting probably was not quite as "flat" in tone and contrast as that in this finished photo.

However without the EXIF, I can't really tell how the image was shot to say much more beyond how the image "looks" on the screen. Things could be better if the clouds were a little crisper and stood out more.

I also feel that your composition needs either more or less trees.

I'd like to see more of the trees myself to tie the sky into the land. But the shot could be equally good - but different - with just clouds. Going with or without the trees - on a photo where the main subject is the clouds - would be merely whatever appeals to the photographer. Both ways could work.

However if you do want to show the tree line, it would help if your viewer could see more of the trees and not just the current sliver. A sliver is distracting. You don't have to show the entire trees; just a bit more for balance to the eye.

Or else go with no trees; only the clouds in the frame. Your choice.

Meanwhile, I like your general idea behind this shot. That's a good start.

Ryan, you have my permission to do any thing you would like to fix this. Hey you even have a delete key?

I'd lose trees if I were you -- they don't really add anything to the photo other than clutter at the bottom. Also, this shot is strangely flat, given the lighting conditions -- the clouds aren't really white and seem dull and yellow. Getting good clouds usually means shooting so that the brightest parts of white clouds nudge up against the right side of the histogram.
