Eastern Oregon Sunset

eastern Oregon

I think the sunset colors are very close. I've brought up the foreground in two parts - the hills are little more, and tried to leave the nearer portions a little darker.

My biggest concern is... Should the hills and/or nearer foreground be yet a little lighter? I cropped this image to minimize the foreground and maximize the sunset.

Thanks for any other comments.

IMHO, Dave, I would leave the hills as they are.

I would not make the hills lighter. The foreground maybe a little lighter, but if I was you I would try it and see how you like it. I personally like it the way it is with the trees and all in shadow.
