This picture wasn't about trying to get a cutesy angle or anything. Here I used my astronomical telascope and my Nikon D7000. Using the live view to help focus and the camera's internal metering.
The teleascope is a 5 inch, 1150mm, f 9.4 lens.
The picture is actual frame no cropping done.

Nice...I like the high contrast between light and shadow. Goes well with the worn finish, I think.

The focus seems good. The photo seems a bit dark when comparing it to the photo of the set-up though.
