So great to see pictures of all my dad's family and pictures of my dad's at school. He is not doing so good right now I think aunt Rosie and my dad Ed are the only ones still alive. I bought aunt Rosie's home in minoor hill Tenn. Robert used to live close by my mom and dad lived here too.I would like to know how we would be related, as it is obvious that we are I am John David Keathley grandson of A.J. Jack Keathley and Elizabeth alley Keathley I have the last quilt she ever made and Ajs shoeshine box.i remember grandma e. Keathley well,she was a very sweet woman. I have a very old family Bible that was passed down from my great-grandfather simpkins with family names and birthday's in it. It passed down to A J then to ,Ed and he gave it to me.i know a lot of our history we are known as the desendants of William and Susannah Keathley Wm.born 1775 n.carolina she was thought to be a Seminole Indian. Would love to swap some copies of photos and find out more about you and our connection.That picture of all my aunts and uncle's was when they all came home to bury there father A.J in 1951 Jim was not pictured I think my dad said he took the picture.Then traded places with one of them so there are two different versions of it. My dad had one I don't know what happened to it. I remember Uncle Oliver always pictured with the dog. Tragically he was killed a few years later , he had bought a new ford in 1955 before seat belts, something was wrong with the door from the factory he came around a corner the door opened up he fell out and hit his head on a curb.My dad was devastated they were close being the two youngest slept in the same bed growing up. My dad sold his car and got his life insurance and kept it at Grandma's request for her burial and he spent every dime of it on her funeral , contrary to some of the stories out there. I know those stories about that money truly hurt him. He was honest to a fault and never touched that money,keeping his mother's wishes till her dying day.

Hi, my name is Rosie (Rosalie)(Banks) Keathley. It's weird to see someone with your same name. My husband (Andrew Webb Keathley, Jr.) and I live in Wortham, Texas. Most of his father's relatives were from around Sparta, Tennessee. His father's brothers were Zachariah Joshua (and I think that was their father's name), Rudolph L., Everett, and Richard. You've done a good job on the gallery, it's nice.
