Participants were Jan, Chris and me. Mel joined us for Panera afterwards. She will be out of excuses next year since she will be graduating in a few weeks! In these shots, she risked her life by standing in traffic at the Mall.

It was pretty cold for this race. Chris only had shorts to wear and froze. I was hobbling the first couple of miles due to "wart foot" but felt great the rest of the race. The theme from "Rocky" came on my iPod the last turn of the race which really motivated me to run across the finish. I hammed it up for the Brightroom cameras and ended up getting my own private photo shoot.
