Jekyll Island Revisited
June 25-30, 2006



"Above simply capturing the highlights of the activities,
my goal was to provide a sort of photographic experience
for those who couldn't come along on the trip. Recording
the events shared a front seat with trying to capture the
emotion one gets when viewing the different sights around
the island."

That was my opening paragraph to the 2005 Jekyll Island galleries. Little did I know
at the time, those galleries would be as much for me as they were for others. I look back
at that vacation quite often, and I think one of the biggest contributors to the success
of that trip was our commitment to functioning as a unit. We stayed together as a group
and eliminated sources of distraction such as tv and gameboys. This trip shared that
quality and I really look forward to revisiting these galleries often because of it.
I hope it serves others in the same way.

As before, I'll do my best to add comments to the pics. Supposedly, every picture tells
a story, right? I'll do my best, but no guarantees. Thanks to those involved in putting
the journal together which serves as a reference for the titles and photo descriptions.
