Recap of the effort:

Wake up at o'dark thirty.
Cut up bait.
Drive to pier.
Bait basket and then wait.

An hour and a half later retrieve the basket and reap the bountiful harvest,
which in this case happens to be two hermit crabs. It's definitely a case where
the means justifies the end, but I'm glad we weren't counting on our fishing
abilities for sustenance. We'll have better luck next time I'm sure. :)
