I feel safe in saying that we'll be back someday for another adventure.
The captain gave us some insight as to why they started passenger tours. Fishermen
get in the order of approximately $1 per pound of shrimp they catch. Actually, a little
less than that if I remember correctly. In addition to paying a salary to the crew, consider
what it takes just to fuel a ship this size. The tank holds 10,000 gallons of diesel
which costs (now) about $4.50 per gallon. Ouch.
