Rivals, Kentucky

Located in Spencer County along Brashears Creek in Rivals, Ky, this cache is a short walk but a scenic drive. Take Picket’s Dam Road off of Taylorsville Road and keep an eye out the windows for some gorgeous overlooks. This is a country road that starts out paved and gradually becomes graveled and full of potholes. A “working” horse drawn carriage frequents this road so please drive slowly.

This is a lovely area but there’s way too much garbage! Continue on the road the same way after you stop—it’s a complete circle so there’s no need to turn around. In fact, you’ll miss some lovely sights if you do!
