Even on the XT-2, at f2.8 the 35mm doesn't have the wide aperture pop of a Zeiss, say ...still, a smooth enough rendition of background receding distance. When I did the same shot a few years ago with both the 50mm Canon 1.8 and 1.4 on full frame 1Ds Mk2, both looked a bit jittery and did not have the ease or tonal nuances that the Fuji combo has now.
