Yes, I made the 14/2.8 have it here: strong low sunlight, directly contrejour, no lenshood so as to push it to flare. I allowed for the XT-1's full 6 stops of dynamic range in the RAWs, "silvering" the frosty grass by dodging highlights in post ... just like we did in the darkroom, remember!
