IN BITS BUT HANGING ON: BEHAVIOURS OF A WORLD IN DEVOLUTION
This is an essay comprised of over 100 images which I find very hard to introduce in words!
Each one is a frame around a comment or suggestion which explores the world and our place in it.
Repeated symbols, rhythms and motifs will become either sensed or apparent as you "read" through.
Though taken in Tuscany, this is not a series of travel photos: indeed, it would make a poor representation of an astonishingly beautiful place.
Rather, it is a comment on the nature of our own place within the world, an exploration of the real and imagined structures we erect to deny exactly who and where we are.
Though it is my intent to "say" something subjective, it is equally my intent that you ascribe anything you wish to any or all images. Indeed, if they and you engage, then it is at that place that that any "art" or creative act is going on.
