Polar Plunge 2010

The 7th annual Polar Plunge was held New Years Day at Huckleberry Acres in New London, Wi. The temps were in the mid teens. All the proceeds went to benefit the Martha Seikman Cancer Center in Appleton, Wi.

I did not participate in any actual jumping. I do not have the guts, Sisu (yeah, I had to look that one up) or any of those things that one would need to hurl themselves into frigid water in January in Wisconsin.

But to those of you that did......You Rock!!

Tammie! What great photos. YOU rock as much as the hearty dare devils who took the New Year's plunge. Thanks for continuing to share your wonderful photography with me. I'll be looking for your entries in this year's Midwinter Show! What about the one of the bird standing on his head? Did I send you the ones of Steve releasing the owl in Kentucky? (What is sisu?
