Took another trip up to Horicon Marsh in search of the snowy owl, and luck was with me that day in finding it. It also didn't hurt that there was another photographer parked along side the road as well!

This time I took my good friend Roger with me. We have been friends forever and although we talk almost every day we rarely get to hang out anymore because of work schedules. So I invited Roger along, he had never really been "birding" nor did he really know how this "photographing birds" thing went. He has decided that birding is really not his thing, and he got kind of antsy sitting for so long....umm, it was only 15 minutes at that point!!

We only stayed a couple of hours and even though the snowy didn't do much except sit in his clump of grass the whole time, it was neat to finally get to see this beautiful bird, and it was a great day and lots of laughs shared with an old friend.
