At the JR site, we had noticed several days had passed and no parent was on the nest. We had a climber from WE Energies go up the pole and confirmed our fear.....the nest had been abandoned. Just one lone egg in the nest. This nest had also had a problem of being hasseled by another osprey from the very beginning. We aren't sure if this bird eventually drove the pair from the area.
