This was the 4th of July weekend. It was then that we figured out the nest had been abandoned. I stopped to see if by chance the osprey were around, they were not. So I took a walk down near the pond. I had never been down there because I would have had to walk past the platform and we didn't want to chase them off of the nest. There was alot going on at the pond that day!
