This year saw higher numbers of redpolls in the yard traveling with pine siskins and goldfinches. We couldn't keep the thistle feeders full enough.

** Update ** I am told by my shootin' buddy Fisher that this may be a Hoary Redpoll not a Common Redpoll as I believed it to be. Whoever he is, I'm glad he stopped by!
