Northern Visitor

This snowy owl was located in one of the busiest areas on the east side of Appleton. 4 lanes of traffic in every direction, stores, strip malls, restaurants and lots of people rushing about. He was in the area for about 3-4 weeks and a check last weekend for him found nothing. Hopefully he moves on to a less populated area to hunt for food.

other sizes: small medium original auto

I'd love to come across a cool owl like this. Probably won't happen around my place.

We've had 3 Snowy Owls in my area over the past month. I suspect it was a great breeding year and that these young owls are down here after being moved out of the area where they were born and are searching for food. Great image.

With any luck, that will be the most snow you see this winter! :-)

Great capture, Tammie! V~ Looks like he found a Seagull perch...and I doubt this little visitor could exist on parking lot french fries.
