It was very cold and there were probably 30 eagles there, immature and adult. Plenty of gulls, a redtail hawk and lots of waterfowl.

Also located here is the largest pedestrian trail crossing a body of water in Wisconsin (1,600 feet)! It is built on an old railroad bridge across Little Lake Butte des Morts. The west trailhead starts here at Fritse Park and the east trailhead is accessible in the City of Menasha on Water Street.
