Wasp cleaning wings

Parasitic Braconid wasp(Apanteles or Cotesia congregata?) just emerged from cocoon on dying Hornworm

Here the new emerged wasp is wiping clean its wings with the rear legs before flying off in search of another Hornworm to kill.

This is great. I've got the same 50mm on my nikon but mine don't look like this. Is this cropped and what flash did you use? derekshanefotos@gmail.com

Poor Manduca sexta, to be killed by a bunch of Cotesia congregata. It's a cruel world. :D
