Less Directional Light

Each coin is shown with three different lighting patterns. The top row is a standard directional light. The middle is light bounced from a white card placed above the camera position with no direct light from the bulb allowed to fall on the coins. The bottom row is like the middle except that a small amount of the light from the bulb is allowed to fall directly on the coin in addition to the bounced light. The effect is different for each type coin. Each photographer will need to decide which system is best for each coin.
