Earlier in the year, police confiscated an illegally kept venomous snake after it bit its owner. This occurred about two blocks from my daughter's house. Police called the pet shop where we buy crickets and asked them to care for it until a proper home could be found. My grandson saw it while it was at the shop and, now, again at the appointed guardians - a Reptile Zoo just down the road from the Luray Caverns.
