Each spring after a wet winter, Texas roadsides turn into a riot of color. This is the result of a plan by Lady Bird Johnson to beautify the roadsides of America by setting an example in Texas. Texas Paintbrush, Flax, Mexican Primroses, Drummond's Phlox, Winecups, and most of all, Texas Bluebonnets bring the roadsides to life and provide a multitude of photographic opportunities. Every one of the images seen here were either along a road or a short distance away. I will be adding more images soon.
