This is a wonderful prairie which is being restored under the tuteladge of Stephen Packard who is renowned for his prairie restoration work. He is co-editor of "The Tallgrass Restoration Handbook for Prairies, Savanas, and Woodlands," which is the "bible" for prairie restoration. This site is becoming as richly diverse as the former prairies which existed over much of the state. The images you see here represent only a small sample of the beauty of this area.
