Mark and Louise Halston were briefly famous in 1954 when they were "two-time winners" on "Ted Mack's Amateur Hour".
Their ventriloquism act was an immediate sensation as they manipulated nearly life-size dummies.
Never able to have children of their own, the Halston's carved up a boy and a girl and brought them to life
to the amazement of all who watched television during those two weeks.
To add a further twist to the bizarre display, Louise worked the boy while Mark brought the girl to life.
YouTube has given this historical blip a second life with a rare kinescope that has half a million hits so far.
An agent now represents them and a tour is in the works.
