July 2- Standing on the Corner

Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, California.
It's never too early to get a good spot for the Rose Parade : )

The central corridor of Old Pasadena is Colorado Blvd.
Best known on New Year's Day for the Tournament of Roses parade it hosts.
These city blocks are favorite among pedestrians,
who fill the sidewalks at night to window shop.
This 22-block neighborhood has more than 80 restaurants
and clubs and 120 stores, shops and boutiques.

The treatment of this image makes me think of "The barber" from the Coen brothers. A car of the 50s on the right would have been awesome!

Great introduction. Your superb treatment made it even more attractive, just like a dream... coming true for a die-hard shopper - it's a paradise! :-)))

What an interesting place it looks so inviting! I adore again your processing skills Doug! This "smooth" effect" and the beautiful tonality - delicate!
