One of many pictures while I made a stroll through the area to the north, heading west from my hotel in the al-Khandak street, the Jdeide Quarter, "one of the most charming areas of the city". A year earlier I mainly visited churches (well, it was Eastern after all), this time I just enjoyed the old houses, narrow streets and all that. The gps did not always work, but all these pictures were taken within a few hundred meters square.
