Northern Tetrapylon

The northern Tetrapylon, reconstructed in 2001. It stands on the cross between the northern cardo and the northern Decumanus. It is dedicated to the wife of Emperor Septimus Severus (193-211). It is rather simple, befitting the relative unimportance of this part of town. Some pictures I took from up high, some at street level on my way to the North Gate, some returning from the latter.

For a clear view of the area covered use the map view. You should realize the coordinates show where the picture was taken from, whereas I group them according to what they show.
