For years I called this the Yeni Cami, but it seems the mosque is usually called Bürüngüz Mosue. It was built by Refik Bürüngüz in 1977. The mosque, which is located at a point dominating the Republic Square, reflects the classical Ottoman architectural style with its large dome cover, glass workmanship and dome decoration.
