In spring 2012 I spent a delightful two weeks getting re-acquainted with the area near Antalya. I used ancient Side as a base camp to visit some nearby antique cities as well as enjoying the town itself. And within that there is, in a Roman bath that has been well preserved, a fine collection in the archaeological museum. Almost all finds are second century AD Roman artefacts (except some good quality Muslim grave stones). Most impressive I found a couple of sarcophagi with drunk putti in Dionysian scenes. The bath was built in the 2nd century and reconstructed in the 5th, if has a caldarium, frigidatium, two tepidaria and a sauna or laconicum under a dome.
I visited several times again. Most people seem to passs the museum without entering: stupid of them.
