Osman Hamdi Bey in the museum

The museum dedicated a large room to works by this Turkish master, who also played a decisive role in the development of archaeology in the Ottoman world, and the founding of the museum dedicated to that as well as of the first arts academy. In an adjacent part there is some more about him.
