A building in Cerrahpaşa neighbourhood. With some reservation as I could not find much information I think this is correct: Dedicated to Selim's (1789–1807) consort, Nazperver Kadın (1792). This small complex, consisting of a primary school (mektep) and a graveyard (cemetery, hazire), is one of the rare examples of Ottoman primary school that has survived until today. A beautiful baroque fountain has been added to the front of the rectangular, two-storey school. On the fountain, which covers a large part of the facade of the school, there is an inscription of the divan poet Sururi Osman Efendi, who was known to be quite famous in his time.
