The previous picture shows what I have been informed to be remains of the Roman / Byzantine city Korykos and are the rests of a Byzantine church.

In March 2008 I ventured into the area of Korykos. I did not see all I set out to do, I stumbled when a low wall I climbed across gave way, hit a rock and my D2x had a focussing problem from then on. I expect to return some day to finish the job.
