This man wears a traditional Kurdish costume from the Turkish-Syrian border region. Compared to the ‘şal-şepik’-costume of the southeastern region, this dress is made of less expensive fabric (cotton) and the cut of the trousers is different (less pyjamas-like, more baggy trousers style).
