A number of houses have been either restored or built anew in a part of town called Odun Pazarı. They were not quite finished yet, I think they will be used in future to house a museum for glass works and probably some other crafts, possibly for tourists. The area uphill from there has many more houses that looked genuinely old, I liked that part of town.
