The entrance to the southeastern aisle of the complex bears two ‘kitabe’ (building inscriptions).
The one above the door says: ‘This holy door was ordered by Mihaloğlu Ahmed Bey, son of Ali Bey, during the time of Sultan Beyazit, son of Mehmet Han, 1511’. (Mihaloğlu Ali Bey was the man who financed the reshaping of the Seyitgazi Türbesi in 1465).

The second one (in fact a double inscription) on the door itself, says:
Left wing: ‘Bu mübarek makam, Sultan Seyyid Battal Gazi’nindir. Allah rahmet eylesin-Ali’
(This holy place belongs to Seyit Battal Gazi. May Allah have mercy on him).
Right wing: ‘Hayrat sahibi Mustafa Hızır Bey’in emri ile yapıldı-906/1500-1501’
(This door was made by order of Mustafa Hızır Bey, the pious foundation’s administrator).
