The city has a very fine collection at its archaeological museum.
This is an Urartian inscriptinon (810-786 B.C.). The text reads: By the might of (the god) Haldi, Minua, son of Ishpuini, built this palace of perfection. Minua, son of Ishpuini, powerful king, great king, king of the land of Biainele, ruler of (the city of) Tushpa ....
Note: I may have mixed up this text with that on the next, however, they were very similar, so you get the drift. Not great literature, but very ancient.
