Near sunset I went to an area where a new neighbourhood is under construction. The weird colours are part the effect of the setting sun, part of the architects' choice of colours.

The nice thing of visiting a town repeatedly (well, in the case of Erzincan twice in about a year) is that you can see the result: compare to the pictures a bit further.
