Near the fallen minaret and on the way to Munichihir Mosque one passes through a former shopping area. One can see the walls and thus get some impression of what it may have been like (small shops, with probably a lot of goods in the street, just like today in much of Turkey. They also reminded me of similar shopping streets in Roman cities).
