This is another5 view of the Ortaköy Mosque, built in 1854 for Abdül Mecit by Nikoğos Balyan, who also built the Dolmabahçe mosque and palace. The mosque is nice inside too. In the back some more of the new high rises.

Great picture. Wonder if a power wash would help or hurt this structure. The unique gray texture might be gone, but so would the dirt.
