The same main shopping street is adorned with some weird cement-made statues, that I recognized from an earlier visit, mid-nineties I would say. At that time they were adding some waterworks and a minute park running all along the street, this is one of its statues.

I hope I'll be allowed to pun that the animal looks a bit truncated?
