Since the restyling along the river has such an impact on the looks of the city I started with a walk along the part that had been done.

The bridges had been adorned with statues that were not outstanding, but improved the overall impression. Elsewhere in town some statues had been added also, it looked as if they were all made in the same run at the same foundry (which may well be what happened). On this bridge fishermen were very much in view.
