I don't think I ever saw a "döner" for the kebab this large (or should I say "fat"). Döner kebab is prepared cutting slices off a rotating mass of meat, like the one you see, that is constantly heated from one side. Rotating is "donmek", hence the name. This was chicken, so the colour is whitish.
