The man slightly to the left of the centre was speaking about some issue (probably religious) to the others. He was a fine speaker, and went on for tens of minutes. The whole group was sitting in a structure in the centre of the courtyard, I don't know what it actually was for, although it reminded me of the shaded seats one sometimes sees around the ablations fountain of a mosque.
